Award of Government Grant for the Strategic Transformation of Nutara NV

On Friday June 2nd 2017, the Regional Government of Flanders (Belgium) awarded a grant of 1.15 million EUR to support the strategic transformation of Nutara nv. The grant application was introduced and supported by Secretary Philippe Muyters, responsible for Economic Affairs and Innovation.

“Nutara is an engineering company that supplies turnkey installations for energy generation and resource recovery from industrial waste streams. Nutara is currently transforming from an engineering company to a solution provider with its owns fabrication facilities. The grant will support this transformation process and will also assist Nutara to bring its Research and Development activities to a higher level by building its own R&D infrastructure. This infrastructure will ensure that Nutara can develop innovative technologies from its first concept to implementation”. The grant will also be used for internal and external training of Nutara staff in engineering, IT, modelling, integrated engineering and manufacturing, computer assisted additive manufacturing etc…

With this grant, the Flemish Government wants to support Nutara in her ambition to complete large investments as well as training of the current and future staff.

The grant is awarded to cover investment in infrastructure and training over a period of three years – from 1 Dec 2016 – 30 Nov 2019 – and will be paid in line with the transformation that we are currently undergoing and that will be further implemented.

This support is a recognition of our technology, knowledge, commitment and ambition for all of us.

External communication in collaboration with the responsible Government Agencies will be done later this week.
