Nutara Expands in India
In 2013, Nutara partnered Tialoc to supply a Thermal Oxidizer to Cairn’s refinery in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. The success of this project prompted Nutara to incorporate a company in India, initially a Joint Venture in Delhi and then a wholly owned subsidiary in Mumbai. Contracts from Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (thermal oxidizer), Numaligarh Refinery (SRU burner and incinerator), Bharat Oman Refinery (SRU burner), Indian Oil Corporation (incinerators), Reliance Sibur (incinerator) and the very healthy pipeline of enquiries meant that the office in Mumbai soon ran out of space.
On 3rd of July 2018, a new, very modern office was inaugurated in the Millennium Business Park in Mahape, Mumbai. The traditional ‘Pooja’ ceremony was followed by ribbon-cutting by Nutara’s Marcel Goemans and Tialoc’s Jean-Philippe Filhol. Apart from all staff in India and some key colleagues from Belgium, the celebrations were attended by several clients and vendors who made it there in-spite of the very heavy monsoon downpour which the local priest explained as ‘blessings for prosperity directly from the rain God Indra’.
Thank God that there’s additional office space identified to move in when the current capacity of 50 becomes insufficient.
